Proper licensing, insurance, and ethical training matter

DRIVIDIA upholds high standards for all driving education partners in Ontario — because better preparation builds safer drivers.

DRIVIDIA's position: DRIVIDIA strongly discourages illegal, misleading, or unethical driving education practices. All partner providers in the DRIVIDIA network must be properly licensed, insured, and committed to student-first instruction. For BDE, only MTO-approved schools are assigned.
Our standards

Driving education should build real competence — not bypass it.

DRIVIDIA strongly discourages illegal, misleading, or unethical certification practices that undermine student safety and public trust in Ontario's driving education system.

For BDE services, DRIVIDIA coordinates packages through assigned MTO-approved partner driving schools. The assigned partner school is responsible for official BDE delivery, records, and certification steps. DRIVIDIA does not deliver BDE directly and does not allow partners to shortcut official BDE requirements.

Learn About BDE Coordination

Partner standards enforced by DRIVIDIA

Proper instructor licensing and certification

All partner instructors must hold the appropriate Ontario driving instructor certification and credentials for the services they deliver.

Appropriate insurance coverage

Partner providers must carry appropriate insurance for the vehicles used during lessons, road tests, and service delivery.

Safe and roadworthy vehicles

Vehicles used for lessons, road tests, or car rental support must meet roadworthiness standards and be properly maintained.

Professional conduct and clear communication

Partners must communicate professionally with students and families, set clear expectations, and provide honest readiness feedback.

Ethical BDE coordination — no shortcut certification

BDE must be delivered properly by MTO-approved schools. DRIVIDIA strongly discourages illegal, misleading, or unethical practices that undermine student safety and public trust.

Student-first lesson delivery and support

Partners must prioritize genuine skill development and readiness, not just attendance or completion. The goal is better-prepared, safer drivers.

Why this matters

Accountability protects students — and everyone on the road.

Road safety outcomes in Ontario depend on the quality of driver training. Learners who receive proper, accountable instruction are better prepared, more confident, and less likely to be involved in accidents.

DRIVIDIA was built on the belief that driving education coordination should enforce — not erode — proper standards. Every standard DRIVIDIA upholds is a direct investment in safer roads for Ontario communities.
